SlutWalk Fredericton First in Atlantic

“Yes means Yes and No means No, however we dress and wherever we go.” was the rallying cry for Fredericton’s first Slutwalk, a public protest against the misogynist bullying called slut-shaming.

Inspired by a telling remark made by a Toronto police officer in early 2011, expressing to a group of young women that they could avoid being raped if they didn’t dress like sluts, Slutwalks have taken place across the globe in the past six months.
