Anti-Bullying Activist Selected To Be On Provincial Positive learning environments committee

A New Brunswick based Anti-Bullying Activist, and co-founder of a national anti-bullying organization has been informed by Education and Early Childhood Development Minister Jody Carr that Rob Frenette, will be on this committee.

“I am pleased to be asked to be on this committee, and I look forward to work with Premier David Alward, and Education and Early Childhood Development Minister Jody Carr to help combat the issue of bullying in our province” said Rob Frenette.

“There are some excellent initiatives going on in schools and in the community,” said Carr. “The new committee will enable more collaboration and more sharing of information and successful initiatives, and for people, particularly parents and students, to be a bigger part of the solution.”

Frenette hopes that this committee will be able to be one of many positive solutions to dealing with bullying in the future.

“I would like to thank Minister Carr for extending the offer for me to be a member of this committee” concluded Frenette
