Gender Identity Project
The Gender Identity Project is a service for gender-questioning youth and adults who struggle with their gender identity, presentation or expression.
The purpose of the Gender Identity Project is to help individuals come to terms with uncertainty about their own gender; to help them deal with the desire or pressure to identify as a particular gender, or to present themselves as a particular gender to others.
Gender identity and expression is a very complex set of personal and social issues. It helps to have someone to talk to on a regular basis about these issues, a professional counsellor who can provide support, who is also gender questioning with whom you can share your concerns.
Professional counselling for the Gender Identity Project is provided by Shaun Bartone of Braveheart Counselling. Shaun Bartone, is a professional counsellor with a Master of Social Work and many years experience dealing with gender identity and expression issues.
